Hi guys. (I think this is my first "real" post? Hooray!)

In the past, my understanding of the way neopets worked was that a suspected cheater is frozen, and then their accounts sits there forever until the next purge (and even then, may not be purged). I was unfairly frozen about a week ago, and I submitted a ticket. The ticket's since received no reply, but my account has been purged. :I I guess that answers my ticket, at least.

Anybody else had this happen? It just seems very out of the ordinary for TNT.

What were you doing with the accounts prior to the chain freeze? Using paid proxy vs free proxy? Lots of NPs/items transferred between them?

It is exactly like being frozen except you get to play games an make NP. I mean unless you want to just autobuy and sell to sell neopoints or items on here ya. XD

I was wondering if people who are frozen for ABing played on their account.

I've heard about someone who used AB on their main without any problems. So I thought I could maybe be safer, when I care for your account, like playing games, chatting on the boards, restocking for your gallery... and ABing ??

For those who were recently frozen.
Was it just a shell where you did nothing but ABing? Or was did you do more on those accounts?

Just had two accounts frozen after 3 months of ABing, lost about 25 mil or so. Luckily my real wealth (painted pets on sides) has been so far untouched. Hope it stays that way or I think I'll get a new hobby.

Edit: Will add deets if unsuccessful at getting my account restored.

That seems ridiculous. A buy time of 1.7s is as good as it gets as a legit.

Were you sitting in only those two shops? I've been at stamps and didn't get frozen yet.

Aight, my two accounts were banned at the same time last week after ABing 5-6 days per week for the last few months. The reason was auto-buying (guilty, heh heh). I think they were flagged for freezing independently since I mainly ran one at work and one at home, and there was a small amount of crosstalk between them. They were posing as relatives. My main account and many sides, which received the MPs and clothes that I turned my AB'd NP into, have not been frozen.

I got sloppy; I was getting bored with neopets and was just ABing, not keeping up appearances by playing games, posting on the boards, etc. I had made my accounts look like mains with custom layouts, trophies, etc. and gave both accounts a distinctive typing style.

One account only went to the AAA and mostly only got buyables and low UB's; I think this one may have been frozen since I would just leave it on to check the AAA all day. Seems dumb in retrospect, but I figured that since it was only checking the AAA at the set times it would be okay.

The other account AB'd at one shop that I had good luck with. I would AB for 2-2.5 hours, take a 2 hr break, then AB for another 2-2.5. I had buy times of 1.2-1.7 ms here, so that might have been too fast and set off some flags (although there were certainly faster ABers in the shop taking most of the UBs from me). I would also stop the ABer and log into the account in a browser to keep this shop cleared; maybe the discrepancy between the AB times and my by-hand times was a red flag. This account would rarely get restock banned and if I did I would shut off abrosia as soon as I noticed and usually not AB the next day.

I sent in tickets for each account last week, in-character for each account, but now I'm reading the Get-Unfrozen guide and I DUN IT WRANG. Ah well. I lost about 25 mil NP, and a couple pets plus clothes (<500k value) that hadn't yet been transferred off those ABing accounts. I would have liked to use some of the money I was still sitting on to paint a couple other pets (was waiting for another FFQ, got tons of cookies) and to replenish my main's coffers. I never sent my main money, just a couple (pricey) items now and then; same with my sides. This might have kept these accounts safe.

I'm now debating whether I want to get into the multi-month/year fight to get those accounts unfrozen, if it's even possible; I might just recreate my lost pets and quit once I'm done.

I've only been frozen once due to score sending(dont recommended it at all) I've always usually ab on my main NEVER BEEN FROZEN. I find it safer actually. I use default settings and such

I suspected that freezes are done by a person who at least sits in front of a computer glimpsing at some reason you were flagged. Whatever their reasons may be, I suspect this because my account that I bought as a shell and used a new proxy on has yet to be frozen yet it was doing the same exact thing all weekend. Older IPs that were once flagged will be flagged in a matter of days. Its a good thing I have more than a handful of proxies

Was reason for "using an autobuyer" or for "cheating/downloadable cheat program?"

Autobuyer, I did use an autobuyer tho on the account, its just if you decide to cheat in the future its more likely you will get flagged quicker than usual. One of my AAA shells with 800ms speeds still has yet to be frozen lol. new proxy ftw!
