Hey guys,

I've been lurking in this forum for a while now, but the reason as to how I have arrived here, was because I was building a complete NP auto-player in PHP. Of course, realizing that NeoCodex has a wide range of scripts that were already built, I scrapped my project in lieu of doing something more useful (and possibly creating something that doesn't already exist).

Now, I have a question though: one thing that is really missing from the suite of automaters, is a SDB valuables checker. Now that I have the Packrat Av, I have TONS upon tons of items in my SDB and have no idea what is worth what. The actual question: if I build such an automater in PHP, how hard would it be to port into the Python framework?

Best,
Ch4osDr4gon

Sorry you didn't get a reply earlier man.
An SDB valubles checker would be AWESOME! On top of the VERY VERY simple especially with the cdxIDB. No need to run a shop wiz search on your thousands of items. A py conversion would be cake cake. But probably won't work really like the php script so dont waste your time on that please. But the idea is amazing.

i think something like a faerie job nabber would be a nice add. very similar to AB, except with jobs. of course, with the current plot going on, it won't be useful any time soon.

An SBD checker would be awesome. I currently have over 3k items in my SDB and have no idea how much they are worth.

To reporters: I left dower's dig approved as it shows how many people want an SDB checker. Hopefully will motivate our programmers.

Except I already have one 90% done. :p

And everything is on hold while we reinvent how programs are done.

Everyone will love our new system.

I bet you're going to take your repository to the next level. Real time updates, from the programmer on the server to the client in mere minutes.

I'm right, aren't I?

The elves aren't employed by me any more, I had to fire them for fornicating whilst on duty. Horny little bastards... <_<

But... what about the baby elves? If their parents are unemployed....

Even the elves aren't immune to the economy's downturn, it seems T__T

They were sold to the Chinese to be used for traditional medicine. Who would have thought that baby elf eyes can cure impotence...

Was NeoCodex going to release a API for the item database? I heard something like that. Would be useful for this kind of program.

We are thinking about it, yes :p.

Still have to work out some of the details, but we're looking to open up an API to some of our services :p.

I'm thinking $1 per 100 items returned in a query, that seems fair.
